Freudenberg supplies seals, vibration control technology components, filters, nonwovens, release agents and lubricants to industries including construction, oil and gas, medical and pharmaceutical, fluid power, chemical, material handling, mechanical power, aerospace, agriculture, appliance and almost all of the world's automakers. Freduenberg also markets directly to consumers under several product brands including vileda®, O’Cedar®, Wettex®, Gala® and SWASH®, among others.

Freudenberg was founded by Carl Johann Freudenberg in 1849. The company is privately owned by 320 members of the Freudenberg family. Freudenberg’s Partnership Agreement secures the financial independence of the company.

As the global landscape shifts, Freudenberg’s operations in North America have continued to grow and evolve into a family of 15 stand-alone companies that focus on quality, customer service, innovation and long-term vision.
